The province of Trujillo received 26,905 local and foreign tourists during the long holiday weekend in the occasion of Peru’s independence day, reported the regional manager of Foreign Trade and Tourism from La Libertad, Bernardo Alva.
Out of this number, 24,948 people from other regions of the country arrived to Trujillo attracted by the tourist attractions of the “Ciudad de la eternal primavera” (Everlasting spring city).
