Jorge Chavez International Airport the best in Latin America

Jorge Chavez International Airport Lima-PerúPeru’s President Alan García reported today that the Jorge Chavez International Airport has been voted the best in South America, ahead of Brazil and Argentina airports, according to the travelers. “Lima Airport Partners (LAP), the airport operator, bring us the good news that our airport has been voted the best in South America, and that is the result of the votes of ten million travelers”, he stated.

The Lima airport gathered more votes than Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Ezeiza (Argentina) airports, he said to the press at the Government Palace.

President Garcia said this nomination makes us be proud of our country and shows the interest airlines have in our airport.

President Garcia held a meeting with LAP board president Jorge von Wedemeyer and general manager, Jaime Daily. The minister of Transport and Communications, Enrique Cornejo, also attended the meeting.
