Machu Picchu replica could be one of Disney’s new attractions.

A replica of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu could be one of the new attractions at Disney’s Epcot Center in Orlando, said Kristi Breen, manager of college and international recruiting at Disney World.

Kristi Breen, who is visiting the Andean city of Cuzco this week, signed an internship agreement with businessman Raul Diez Canseco under which a group of Disney chefs will visit Cuzco to share their experiences on Peruvian and international cuisine.

The agreement was signed after inaugurating the new San Ignacio de Loyola University building located near Cusco’s Main Square.

According to Peruvian newspaper El Comercio, Diez Canseco said he and Breen discussed the possibility of placing a Machu Picchu replica at Disney’s Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida.

“It would be like getting a glimpse of the country’s archaeological and cultural sites,” said the businessman who noted Disney’s willingness to put the idea into action.
